Our first date took place in Boston's North End neighborhood, a few days after matching on Hinge. We had dinner at Giacomo's and then dessert at Modern Pastry where we connected over our shared love of food, college football, and Pokémon.

We made our relationship official on our way to our first Atlanta United game together, after getting breakfast with Nick's grandparents. After our first few dates in Boston, COVID kept us in separate states until we were both in Atlanta in 2021 and able to reconnect. This summer, we met each other's families and exchanged our first "I love yous".

The first international trip we took was to Spain and Portugal, with Jenny's friends from college. As Nick went back to Boston for his final year of law school, we found ourselves frequently traveling between Boston and Atlanta to see each other when we could.

After Nick graduated from law school, we moved into our first apartment together in Atlanta where we hung up Christmas decorations that we never took down and supported each other through taking the bar and applying to business school.

We took a trip to Chile to visit Nick's extended family and make the most of his last summer break before starting work.

As Jenny moves to Philly to start business school, we enter our second stretch of long distance and kick off a whirlwind two years of globetrotting, and learning new things for the both of us (Jenny: hockey, Nick: skiing).

Two days after Thanksgiving and almost four years after our first date, we get engaged in Atlanta! Nick pops the question on the roof of our first apartment and we celebrate alongside our friends and family with KBBQ afterwards.

While we knew we did not want to have a large wedding celebration until after Jenny finished business school, we did have our civil ceremony beforehand at the Fulton County courthouse in Atlanta with our families.

2024 is another year of long distance made easier with travel. We ski in Colorado, chase the eclipse in Indiana, hike in Shenandoah and spend a month together in California (this picture is from our roadtrip to Big Sur!)

After yet another ski trip, Jenny graduates from business school. We move her out of Philly, take a trip to Hawaii, and spend a couple more months in Atlanta before embarking on our next adventure.

We move to New York, excited to live together again and start our new jobs. Highlights so far include watching the Coney Island hotdog eating contest, visiting the Museum of Natural History, and Empire Halal in Long Island City.
